Originally a rough piece of pink opal, the tumbled version resulted in more of an obtuse triangle, albeit with somewhat rounded edges. When I intuitively selected this stone, I saw the face of a heart and shaped the copper around the stone to demonstrate this vision. The pendant is double-sided, with the opposite side edged in copper with no heart.
The pink opal is a stone without equal. It is known as the “stone of spiritual awakening” and its varieties of colors range from pale pink to lavender, through cream tones with lots of white veins. It is considered a stone of relaxation and internal renewal that also favors the affairs of the heart.
This pendant is available on various chain lengths (see drop down menu) - in both chain and leather. A 2" extender will be added to any 16" and 18" chains. All leather chords will be 16" + a 2" extender.
This piece measures 49mm at its longest point (including the bail) x 18mm at its widest point.
(25.4mm = 1")
PATINA & FINISH:
The vintage patina technique we utilize emphasizes the organic growth of the copper. The metalwork is finished with a tough, jewelry-grade coating that seals the metal, inhibiting tarnish and oxidation.
In-stock items are shipped out within 3 business days (though we strive to have them shipped out much more quickly), unless otherwise indicated. If you need an item shipped sooner, please reach out to us at Yamsjewelry@gmail.com, and we will do our best to get your package shipped sooner.
Tracking will be e-mailed to you or sent via SMS when your order is shipped.
Because so many of our pieces are limited in stone availability or customized (with no 2 stones being identical), I highly recommend adding insurance to your purchase in the event your package is lost in transit. Please note the shipping policy at the bottom of the page.
